Drama 3, Drama 4, and Musical Theatre *sign up times are located outside of the drama room*
Drama 3, Drama 4, and Musical Theatre will be highly competitive courses to get into, and I feel the need to emphasize my values as a teacher/director to benefit those auditioning, and help them be set apart as different.
1. Punctuality. I will respect your time if you respect mine. Theatre is a collaborative endeavor and we can not accomplish what is needed if people are taking away time by being tardy or constantly absent. 2. Hard work. I am a firm believer that hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard. Students who want to exceed in audition based classes should anticipate working hours outside of class. It is not uncommon for students to want to meet prior to school, during lunch, or after school gets out. 3. No drama in drama. I want students in my department to feel safe coming to class, being at rehearsals, etc. I will not tolerate unkindness.
AUDITIONS are May 12th (for Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors). Sign ups for a time can be found outside the drama room w-142. Complete the attached Google Form for each class you wish to audition for.
*If you are wanting to audition for both Drama 3 and 4 you only need to prepare ONE monologue!
