Mamma Mia Casting Information
Thank you to every single one of you who auditioned for Mamma Mia. We feel so incredibly lucky to have so much talent at Timpview.
For those of you who did not make it we encourage you to try out again for our spring play: Junie B Jones. Consider joining drama club (every Tuesday in the drama room) or adding a drama class (Drama 1 or Drama 2) to your schedule. We would love to have you join us!
Our first rehearsal is this Monday, August 31st. Please meet in room W147 (orchestra/drama room). Find a chair and be prepared to receive instruction starting promptly at 2:30.
To accept your part in this production and to commit to the rehearsal schedule please fill out the linked google form (scroll to bottom)
We do have some Saturday rehearsals, and later nights during tech week. Please make sure those dates you also have free in your calendar. If you are unable to make it to a majority of rehearsals due to work, other commitments, etc. please know that we may have to give your role to someone else. If you miss three or more unexcused rehearsals you will be excused from the production.
As a reminder the rehearsal schedule is always susceptible to change. You will note, rehearsals for the first 2-3 weeks are vocals, and specific parts will be called certain days (be on the lookout for updates). Those will take place in room W147. From there we will begin choreography and blocking. Some days you might be called to work with the choreographer, Madi, while simultaneously another group of actors are with Mrs. Napierski. Be sure to keep a close eye on the schedule so you know when you are called on a certain day and for what.
*When working with the choreographer bring comfortable clothes and shoes you can dance in.
This production is going to be incredible, you all have so much talent that truly radiates and fills a stage!
