FANTASTICKS MUSICIANS AUDITIONS
Thank you for your interest to be a musician for The Fantasticks. The Fantasticks is a classic musical that is traditionally performed with live musicians. We are looking for 2 musicians for each instrument and up to 4 piano players. These musicians MUST be highly skilled in technique, sight reading, musicality, and working as an ensemble. There is only about 1 month to prepare for the performances, so musicians must practice a lot on their own and make time to rehearse as an ensemble.
To prepare for the audition, please play a song from The Fantasticks (found under the tab with your instrument name) and bring your favorite song to play (you will only need to play 30-60 seconds of the song). This is to show me your skill and passion for music.
Please do both of the following: Sign up for a time and Fill out an Audition Form. Video auditions are also an option. Please send your filmed audition to [email protected] by 10pm on 9/24 at the latest. Percussionists, there will not be a Fantasticks song for you to perform. Please send in a video showing your skills on the snare drum and xylophone (Percussionists will not need to sign up for a live audition).
